I'm looking for a magazine for 7.65x53 Mauser. They should fit fine in an 8x57 magazine.

Are there any rifles besides the 8mm Yugos that had a detachable box magazine for 8x57? Or 7x57?

I could use a .30-06 magazine and a spacer to keep them from rattling around, but an x57 mag would be a much better fit.

FN-D models of the BAR, and MG-13s used them.

Hakeem, FN-49, MG-13 25rd mags, there is a K98 Mauser extended magazing as well. a Lungman mag should work also.. B2B

Also consider the French 7.5mm M-29 LMG, the French 7.5mm M-49 rifle, and the Jap 6.5mm Type 96 MG box mags. There are also 7.92x57mm Czech ZB-26 and ZB-30 box mags with Chinese copies.

The 8mm (7.92x57mm) Belgian BAR mags are 30'06 size with a flller spot welded inside.

The Hungarian ZB-39 8mmR mags are said to feed the 7.92x57mm ammo OK.

All FN-49 mags don't have feed lips. They are built into the receiver so scratch all of those except the one on the Argie Nato conversion mags and they are too short. FN-D would be the cheapest? I have a MG13 converted for my Hakim.

I'd go with the MG-13. They're around $25 at IMA IIRC.

IIRC, SARCO had some 20 shot conversions for the M98 at one time.

They don't have feedlips, they're just a body extension like they make for the FN 5.7 pistol.

I myself am looking for a trench mag for a K98 build I am doing for a super cool hunting rifle.

Would these work?

I think those would have too much curve but I would look at modding some fnd 8mm bar mags, or even though they are only 10 round mags m76 mags would probably work great as they are narrower in the front.
