notebook: gas/plunger delayed blowback

I found this drawing on a German site. The notes are in French.

Basically, it's the same setup as the "roller delayed blowback" I described last year, except it uses a gas-operated wedge. In this case, the wedge appears to be a plunger.

One problem with the roller setup I came up with is that to cock the firearm you have to overcome the roller/ramp/spring combination. This system would be much easier to cock.

The "canelures de chambre" sounds like a fluted chamber; that's why I called it a delayed blowback. The mass figures also indicate the designed intended it as blowback. But it looks like it would be easy enough to delay the unlocking until the bullet has cleared the muzzle, in which case it would be a true locked breech.

I *like* this. It's simple, looks easy to tune, and easy to machine. Running the gas port would be a bit more complex than shown, for a real gun. And you'd have to have the material and heat treat of the plunger just right to prevent wear, but that would just be development twiddling.

There was no other information, like who designed this. If anyone has seen it or a similar system before, I'd appreciate a pointer!
