[guns you want but don't already own]

That I don't already own...

One of those Cobb AR-10 variants with the stretched magwell, that were set up for .30-06 and BAR mags. And I'd like it in ye olde M16A1 style furniture, triangular handguard and fixed stock. Yadda yadda .308 whoop-tee-doo. I'll happily stay with the .30-06.

A Coonan 1911 in .357 Magnum. Because I like the 1911, and I like the .357, and there's no reason I shouldn't be able to have both at the same time...

An AMT Automag V in .50AE. Despite its looks, it shares more in common with the Browning Hi-Power and S&W 59 than the 1911. LAR made a 1911 variant in .50AE, and there's the Desert Eagle, but the old Automag IV and V were a good design that never got much recognition.

A '98 Mauser. Don't care what specific model or condition. I just want one that has both the Nazi swastika stamps and the IDF and Star of David marks. Israel bought whatever they could get in the early days, and German war surplus was cheap; rifles occasionally show up with both sets of marks. In this case, I'm more interested in its historical value, though the '98 is a fine design.

A Molot 12 gauge shotgun. I like it better than the Saiga-12. The idea of an AK in 12 gauge always seemed wonderfully demented to me, and I guess to other people, as the price has tripled in five or six years. And for some reason, though I'm a Kalashnikov fan, I've never had a Saiga-12. Well, other than the reason being "no money..."
