Thread: What To Do in Active-Shooter Situation:
Retrieved: 07/26/2014
I've read too many reports of "active shooters" who simply walked around and blew away his "sheltered in place" victims as they huddled under desks or in closets.
If I start hearing gunfire, I'm GONE. I don't give a rodent's posterior about some idiot "lockdown" or "police cordon"; anyone trying to trap me in a building with a shooter is going to get my footprints in their face, because I'm OUT OF THERE.
Lockdowns may be great TV and give a warm authoritatian fuzzy to the power- mad, but they're definitely not in the interest of keeping people from being killed.
