THAT didn't last long... when the Americans With Disabilities Act got rammed through, she went back to the back of the bus. And got to see the return of segregated toilets. And segregated water fountains. And something that didn't even exist in her day - segregated parking.

Hey, at least blacks could go around to the back door and get service in 1960. As a CHCL, I'm often not even allowed in the building...

One of the things that made my local gun shows miserable was the wheelchair brigade.

Yes, guys, I imagine that being in a wheelchair sucks. But hanging your bags on either side of your chair so you take the WHOLE FREAKING AISLE is rude, and so is repeatedly ramming your footboards into the ankles of anyone ahead of you because you're angry at the world.

And they get away with it because they're sure public opinion would go against anyone who punched them in the face as they rightly deserve.
