Making lube wads
Retrieved: 01/11/2015
Not too long ago someone explained how they made lube wads with a sheet of lexan drilled with wad sized holes that they poured the lube in smoothed it off and popped out the wads when they cooled. I'm sorry, I can't remember where I read it but what an ingenius idea! I have tried lot's of methods over the years but never found what I considered satisfactory.
I took an 1/8" sheet of acrylic and drilled 40 holes in it with a 7/16" Forstner bit and set it on a cookie sheet. I poured my favorite lube smoothed it off, let it cool, peeled it up and popped out the wads. In a 1/2 hour I had a Tupperware container full of wads that can be stored in the fridge.
Best idea I have seen in years--thanks whoever you are.
