So I picked up a 60% frame the other day and I just got the slide rails milled and lo and behold the slide stop hole was drilled about 1/8 inch too far forward. I have another one that I need to check also. But what would be the best way to fix this? Welding it up I presume, but I only have a stick welder, what rod would be the best for a regular carbon frame?

Now I know why I got it so cheap... haha.

I don't weld on guns so I will tell you how I would fix it. Ream it to .250 then silver solder in a 250 steel rod or transfer punch if you have one. Next drill new hole where it needs to be and you're done.
