Has anyone tried to make the 1911 a polymer? if so, who and what were the results!
Wilson Combat KZ, BUL, and at one time STI made a single stack grip for the 2011 platform.
Here you go, but IMHO they are all fugly with the Wilson being the least fugly of the bunch and the Spectre and Kimber in a running for the worst thing done to a 1911!
