I'm getting ready to drill the hole in the frame for the disconnector. The blueprint I'm working from doesn't give the location for this hole. Checking the files section, the various blueprints give conflicting information. One gives the distance as 2.474 from the takedown hole and drilled at a 6deg angle. Another gives the distance as 2.500 and a 5deg angle. I realize that the 1deg difference probably won't be an issue, but the .026 location difference is more significant. Which is correct?

I am looking at the USGI dwg and I see 2.474 +/- .003 @ 6 deg. What is the other dwg you are looking at?

The first blueprint in the files section "1911 Blueprint Sectional" shows it as 2.500 and 5 deg.

There is another besides the one you quote that shows it as 6deg but does not locate it. And, there is another that shows it locating off the hammer pivot hole.

The sectional is something that someone chunked together. Who knows off of what drawings and when.

My KT frame measures (by eyeball) very close to 2.474.

I'd go with that.

Will do that then.

2.474 @ 6deg is correct

Does anyone one know the drill size to drill the disconnector hole? and thank you all for giving the location of it.

It is on the print - BUT it is a compound hole with TWO diameters and a given depth IIRC.
