What angle is the disconnecter hole in the top of the frame?

All of my prints show it at an angle but not a single one shows what angle!

I bought three of the Sarco $20 frames and have two others so this is something I'd like to get right 5 times...

I believe its 6 degrees off vertical, yup the cleaned up version of the cross section prints shows it on page 7, its slightly angled forward, 96 degrees from the top plane.

Make sure to post how you go about counterboring it from the back, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that myself.

I found the complete dims on the clean Ordnance print.

The hole is located 2.474" from the barrel link pin hole, which is missing on the other prints.

I am thinking of trying a D bit to ream the counterbore from the back.

The older prints are closer to complete, all the reworked ones are missing important details!

Are you sure? I just checked the print they re-posted on arfcom (link below)

it claims:

- 5 degrees off top plane

-2.500" back from center of slide stop hole

We should nail this one down. Anyone have measurements from an old Colt?

Do you mean this link:

I would lean towards the Ordnance print, but now have doubts...

The two different prints I have say 96 degrees off of the top of the rails.

The difference between 5 and 6 degrees when going through such a short distance as the frame top is not a huge cause for concern i would think.

I know I can't differentiate the 1 degree even when trying to measure it.

That location along the top of the frame would be the main thing to get right, I have no drawings with me at the moment so can't say exactly what that is supposed to be.
