Disconnector Length

On page 152 of "Hallock's [here's where Tuner goes "sigh!] .45 Auto Handbook", 1.297 inch is given as the overall length of the disconnector. This figure is incorrect.

Based on U.S. Army dimensions, the mid-spec length of the disconnector is actually 1.3015 inch.

The error in Hallock's figure likely came from not correcting one dimension used in the total for the 6 degree "bend" at the middle. The printed 1.297 inch figure is the mid-spec value without making that correction.

The difference is only about 0.005", but might keep you from either concluding a disconnector needed replacing when it didn't or that a disconnector didn't need replacing when it did - or whatever!
