I am after a supplier of hex head mag catch locks for a couple of my 1911's, both those I have (STI, Kimber, Springfield) and those I am building (Caspian, STI frames).

They look neat and will finish off my projects nicely.

Brownells-Hex Head Mag Catch Lock
Yes I have thanks mate.
Numrich gun parts also.

I know that Ed Brown make them and Kimber have them, but no replies from them when i mention export to Australia.

I think they're getting harder to find because they strip out so easily. I stopped using them a few years ago. The part never really fit the wrench that was supposed to be sized for them. Even with a decent wrench, they were prone to round over. Good luck.

Kimber uses them in some of their guns check them. Pro TAC II came with one.

Gday folks, just an update, Brownells now have them. Unfortunately the manufacturer is not listed as an approved exporter, so I cannot have them exported to Australia.

Bummer...
