I was taught that when doing a trigger job, the back of the trigger bow should be just a hair behind the vertical walls inside the frame. That can help stabilize the head of the disconnector in the disconnector hole in the frame, since the disconnector will be slightly tilted forward. Doing that, though, may require thinning the forward side of the sear feet just a hair. Extreme care must be taken here because removing too much material can cause problems.
